The Regional Board of Directors (BOD) is in charge of supervising the management and of the representation of SwissCham Hong Kong SAR. It currently comprises a maximum of 13 Directors of the Board including the Co-Presidency, VP, YP Chair and Treasurer roles.
The Consul General and his Deputy of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Hong Kong SAR, are Honorary Members of SwissCham Hong Kong. They are also invited to sit on the BOD from time to time.
The Directors of the Board are elected at the Regional Annual General Assembly (RAGA) for one year term. The Presidency is elected by the RAGA. The others functions are elected within the BOD.
Directors of the Board are expected to attend 2/3rd of scheduled Board Meetings. If they have not, they are not entitled to re-apply for re-election at the next RAGA. Their attendance has to be announced before the elections.
